"Loobi Unn"?

[edit]

I notice that there is no mention of "Loobi Unn" at the Estonian wiki article for Uno Loop. Are there any sources whatsoever for this pseudonym? He's called "Uno Loobi" here, but I assume that's an Estonian grammar change. Martinevans123 (talk) 18:05, 17 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

  • It is a colloquial nickname. Some Estonian men named Uno are sometimes referred to like this: Uno Piir becomes Piiri Unn, Uno Vunk [et] becomes Vungi Unn, and Uno Loop becomes Loobi Unn. But this is not widespread and is very informal. I see maybe one or two people calling Uno Loop like this on forums. No idea why this ISP editor is insistent that it be in the article. "Uno Loobi" is correct, but is just a grammar case in speech. ExRat (talk) 06:11, 18 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
Many thanks for clarifying that. If here was any good source a footnote might be appropriate? Martinevans123 (talk) 07:58, 18 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
