It's rather unfortunate that the word "unitarian" was used, since the English word has almost no meaning other than referring to non-Trinitarian religion ("Unitarian-Universalists" etc.). AnonMoos (talk) 19:13, 20 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
Agreed. "Unitarian" is obviously an incorrect translation. The correct translation is, I think "united", as, for example in the name of the European group, "Gauche Unitaire Européenne", which is translated into English as "European United Left". "United Left", in French, would be "Gauche unie", which is not the name of this political organisation. Indeed, "united" and "unitaire" seem to be considered as equivalent by the European United Left, but it is a wrong translation. The purpose of Gauche Unitaire was to unite the french left. I think "Unitary Left" would be a better translation of the original name. It would be, at least, closer to the original meaning, as "United Left" (or "Gauche unie") would have been a very pretentious name for such a tiny organisation.Fauntleroy (talk) 14:07, 24 July 2017 (UTC)Reply
