The result of the move request was: Moved. Those wishing to retain the current primary redirect have failed to explain why it is the primary topic. Also, I am discounting the IP's !vote because usurping a redirect is absolutely a common occurrence at RM, and RfD is in fact the wrong forum because that would result in an illegal redirect from Union of India to Union of India (disambiguation). Union of India (disambiguation) → Union of India – I'm reopening this discussion because it has been over 6 months since the last one, and consensus can change. Union of India is currently a redirect to Dominion of India. It had nearly 200 incoming links, which included articles like Rajiv Gandhi, Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2000, Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015, Bilaspur State (1950–54), and Additional secretary to the Government of India, which all have little to nothing to do with the target page. The redirect does readers a disservice when it directs them to the wrong article. The term "union of India" has too many uses for any one of them to be primary. - Procedural oppose as wrong forum. The RfD on "Union of India" (six and a half months ago) closed, after two relistings, as "no consensus". This move proposal has the same effect as changing the redirect target, and that's the proper forum. The 191 links in article space won't be fixed by turning them into WP:INTDABs.62.165.198.73 (talk) 03:05, 21 April 2020 (UTC)
