Capitol Hill?

[edit]

Some sources say the bar is in Capitol Hill, but according to Google Maps, the bar is not actually within the boundaries of Capitol Hill. Thoughts? ---Another Believer (Talk) 07:03, 12 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

Google's boundaries are fake, there is no official definition of Capitol Hill. I'm surprised to see it end at Pike Street and would consider anything up to Madison there to be in the neighborhood. Reywas92Talk 17:02, 12 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Reywas92: First Hill, Seattle says, "First Hill is bounded on the west by Interstate 5, beyond which is Downtown, on the north by E. Pike and E. Madison Streets, beyond which is Capitol Hill, and on the south by Yesler Way, beyond which is the International District." This suggests Union Seattle is within the boundaries of First Hill. Should we update this article as such? ---Another Believer (Talk) 20:43, 9 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
I'd say it's basically on the border of both neighborhoods rather than being in one and not the other, then. Neigborhood borders are not legal definitions and this is still part of the south Capitol Hill commercial area. I subjectively considered First Hill to start at the Sunday campus.
