Nice job

[edit]

I have assessed this article "B" class for the following reasons:

  • articled is well referenced
  • contains comprehensive info box
  • has several relevant images
  • good writing style

I will ask for a Maryland peer review to see if we can take it to good article status .

Reference to Pont Adolphe Bridge in Luxembourg and its length

[edit]

The article states "It retained that distinction until the opening of the 218-foot (66 m) span of the Pont Adolphe Bridge in Luxembourg in 1903".

Yet the linked Wikipedia page on that bridge gives the span as "84.65 metres (277.7 ft)",the same approximate numbers used in https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_longest_masonry_arch_bridge_spans

So it looks like there is a minor garble with respect to the Luxembourg bridge that took away the world's record.  Preceding unsigned comment added by Mjmarcus (talkcontribs) 21:58, 30 December 2013 (UTC)Reply
