Paraphrases

I'm concerned that much of this article appears to be very close paraphrases of the original subject. Could this perhaps be addressed? RomanSpa (talk) 07:40, 6 August 2014 (UTC)

Summary needs to be cleaned up

The detailed division of the section delineating the book's contents is unnecessary and should probably be eliminated. As it is, there are sub-headings with nothing under them, and if all of those were filled out, the section as a whole would be much too long. I have eliminated the last sub-heading, which referred to the index, since that was the only one which contained obviously gratuitous information, but since I haven't actually read Understanding Poetry and thus don't know what deserves to be kept and what sub-headings might be appropriate, I'm afraid to tamper with the rest.
