Mototate Station (and probably most of the rest of the stations) has no references and there seems to be little chance of meeting WP:N, per WP:STATION it should be merged and redirected to the line. JeepdaySock (AKA, Jeepday) 11:54, 4 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

I've expanded the Mototate Station article somewhat and added a reference, so I think there is more information there now than could be easily merged into the Uetsu Main Line without losing worthwhile details. Stub articles about rural stations like this are admittedly going to be low priority, but there is a small band of WikiProject Japan editors, including myself, steadily working through trying to clean up and expand them, so articles for stations on this line will no doubt be attended to in the not-too distant future. --DAJF (talk) 13:47, 4 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
