Udio song licence

[edit]

What is the licence of the tracks generated on Udio? Does the licence allow to share, modify and sell the tracks? I have read the terms of service but it's not clear. When I will get the answer, I will complete the article. Ftiercel (talk) 17:03, 20 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

In general, purely AI-generated content (without significant human creative input) cannot be protected by a copyright, and thus cannot be licensed and can be use by anyone. There may be special cases though, e.g. if the generated song infringes existing copyright. I guess it is the same for musics generated by Udio, but I'm no legal expert. Removing Category:Artificial intelligence art

[edit]

That category says The main article for this category is Artificial intelligence art. but according to user Asparagusstar that article must be only about visual art. So the category should be removed from here? Prototyperspective (talk) 22:02, 21 November 2024 (UTC)Reply

The discussion about this is now here. I don't think it needs to be removed. Prototyperspective (talk) 12:09, 11 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
