Ahold Scandal

[edit]

There really should be more about this. It was a huge deal. Ahold had to sell off its Middle-Eastern business to make up for loss. This makes it sound like their sale to the private investment firm was just routine business. Ahold lost 2/3 of its stock value due to fraud on the part of USF. @TychaBrahe I agree. it's really strange that the entire acquisition by Ahold and everything that happened in the slipstream is not mentioned. ~2026-29461-03 (talk) 05:34, 22 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

The company name changed from U.S. Foodservice to US Foods on Sept 26, 2011. Looking forward to help making the content correct and up-to-date

Need a source.

Can we get a source for the "second largest food distributor"? ~2026-27022-51 (talk) 04:23, 5 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
