Translation of "Alleskleber" & outdated Reference

[edit]

Kleber means glue. The translation to "everything-sticker" is frankly ridiculous. The phrase was added in 2007 (as "all-sticker") without a source than changed to a "better translation" in 2014, again without source. The company never used either as far as I can tell. The old history page as currently cited reads "UHU The All Purpose Adhesive" since at least 2011 as well as on the 6th May 2018 and the 9th May 2018. The current page does, too. Also the German phrase itself should not include "German:". Not fixing this myself since I have no idea about cite notes. --2001:4DD6:B244:0:3D45:95A3:9513:7946 (talk) 16:07, 7 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Operations and products section proposal

[edit]

Hello everyone. The article currently does not include a section dedicated to the company’s activities and products. I therefore thought I would suggest adding a brief paragraph on this topic. Please find the text below. Thank you in advance for any advice or feedback.

Operations and products

Production activities are mainly concentrated in Europe, while product distribution takes place in 125 countries.[1] UHU products are intended for domestic, professional, educational and hobby use. The company markets adhesives and glues formulated for different materials, including paper, wood, plastic and metal. Since 2016, it has introduced a line of glues made from plant-based materials, with reduced plastic and free of solvents.[2]

Hi, I’ll go ahead and add the section to the article. Of course, I’m available to discuss the content if any changes or improvements are needed. Pirelli19 (talk) 12:56, 15 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
