Undecaprenyl phosphate

[edit]

Undecaprenyl phosphate's abbreviation seems to be only "UP", at least that's what is written in its page. It also wouldn't make sense for the abbreviation to be "UDP" as there is no "D" in its name. It seems to me that there was confusion between undecaprenyl phosphate (UP) and uridine diphosphate (UDP), as both show up in peptidoglycan biosynthesis. Is there a reliable source for these kind of acronyms? --Yuio Qaz (talk) 17:19, 20 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
