Trauma Center Level

[edit]

Recently, User 73.60.84.245 changed the trauma center level to Level 1 from Level 3 so that it would be "correct". I cannot find this designation anywhere, and in fact I cannot find that John Dempsey Hospital is a trauma center at all. The ACS does not certify it as such (https://www.facs.org/find-a-hospital/?nearMe=off&institutionName=john+dempsey+hospital&orderBy=relevance), nor does the State of Connecticut's list (https://portal.ct.gov/ohs/resources-and-publications/trauma-activation-fee?language=en_US), nor does the hospital's own reporting data (see Report 24B under 2024's Annual Reports for John Dempsey Hospital at https://dphhrswebportal.ct.gov/Reports). Unless someone can find compelling reason otherwise, I'm going to remove this section from the infobox. Jtplona (talk) 14:35, 12 September 2025 (UTC)Reply

I think you're right. I tried to look myself and found no mention of Dempsey ever being a trauma center which honestly surprises me but if it was, it would be on one of the resources you linked or at least mentioned somewhere by the hospital. I agree with your edit. Mangocove (talk) 16:23, 12 September 2025 (UTC)Reply
