Man I'm starting to feel bad that this article is getting shortshrift. I'll review it.
- "he was overlooked by most top scouts until after his junior year of high school due to his height." Correct me if I'm wrong, but I dont see this fact cited in the article
- What about "Because of his height, Ulis was overlooked until well into the recruiting process for top basketball schools. He was not highly recruited until his 2013–14 senior year of high school. Among schools regarded as high-major programs, only Iowa and DePaul made him offers during his junior year." which is reffed.--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 05:29, 8 July 2014 (UTC)
- The retrieval date for ref 1 looks to be incorrect
- When I copy content from similar articles, I use the original retrieval date (unless I re-review the source article).--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 04:55, 8 July 2014 (UTC)
- You should try unlinking some redlinks that are meant for biographies or make some articles. Per WP:REDLINK. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Wirenote (talk • contribs) 00:53, 8 July 2014 (UTC)
- Current redlinks are Tracy Abrams, Keita Bates-Diop, Jordan McLaughlin, Trey Lyles, and Devin Booker. I continue to feel that three years from now the majority of these will have articles. Jalen Brunson was just created exactly two weeks ago (24 June 2014). He is young and so are his peers. Three years ago almost none of the biographies mentioned in the article existed. I don't think these redlinks are really mistakes.--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 05:10, 8 July 2014 (UTC)
- Wirenote Did you forget about this nomination?--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 07:30, 22 July 2014 (UTC)
He hasn't really edited since the review. I'll give him a few days and if he's not back I'll do a read and hold/pass it myself. Wizardman 19:51, 27 July 2014 (UTC)
- Looked through it and didn't see anything further. Just make sure it stays updated through the coming basketball season. GA passed. Wizardman 02:13, 4 August 2014 (UTC)
Date of birth
[edit]NBADraft.net lists his date of birth as January 5, 1996. Should this be added? ~EDDY (talk/contribs)~ 22:23, 6 July 2014 (UTC)
Height?
[edit]Ulis is listed as 5 ft 8 in (1.73 m) in the infobox. But where does this come from? Unfortunately, his NBA profile is no longer active, but his profile on Basketball Reference lists him at 5'10" and the University of Kentucky web archive EL lists him at 5'9".
Do we have any sources that can list him at 5'8", or that can reconcile these differences? Natg 19 (talk) 16:57, 16 June 2023 (UTC)
- I saw this article mentioned at the NBA wiki project. FYI, the NBA.com profile linked in the infobox still works, and says 5'10". Zagalejo (talk) 14:23, 17 June 2023 (UTC)
