This is only a start article and, if tagged, should be treated as such. When developed, the article will not appear promotional. The Two O'Clock Lab Band is unusual because, among other things, it surprised me as being high quality. In professional and academic circles, this has been a well-known phenomena for nearly 30 years under the direction of Jim Riggs. The Band tours, draws large audiences in prestigious venues, and records professionally engineered albums that are highly acclaimed and broadcasted on jazz radio and Pandora. The Two O'Clock Lab Band is nationally recognized by Down Beat and other national publications, many of which, over time, will be cited in the article.
