What sort of turnip?

[edit]

The German word Steckrübe translates as Swedish turnip or rutabaga, a big root with yellow flesh, not the smaller white turnip which is Speiserübe. There is considerable regional variation in the use of the word "turnip" in English, see Turnip (terminology). Alansplodge (talk) 19:55, 5 September 2018 (UTC)Reply
