Recreation

[edit]

Recreated on September 23, 2026, after the September 2024 soft deletion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Turhan Mildon, where the concern was that coverage was routine and mostly about his company. Since then the subject has received significant coverage in his own right, including The Correspondent (September 22, 2026) and Africa Intelligence (March 2026). Thanks for the explaination but I’m still not convinced that this meets WP:GNG
The Correspondent article you are referring is a wedding announcement focused on Alina Habba, with Mildon identified as the groom and briefly described. This is routine WP:PRIMARY coverage, not significant coverage of Mildon himself.
The Africa Intelligence coverage is more substantial compared to The Correspondant, but it's an interview with Mildon as Miller CEO about the company’s Africa strategy. Much of it is based on his own statements, and the focus is on Miller Group's Milvest related, not independent coverage of Mildon personally. Also The reference is dated 18 September 2024, predating the September 2024 AfD and not post-deletion coverage. BengalMC talk 15:32, 23 September 2026 (UTC)Reply
Thanks, BengalMC. I've answered at the AfD, including today's Middle East Eye article on him. One correction: the Africa Intelligence piece in my note is its 24 March 2026 report on the Kisangani drone base, not the 18 September 2024 interview, which ran in The Africa Report.
