Those Tunisia “ethnic groups” percentages don’t represent reality. They treat Tunisia as almost entirely “Arab,” when most Maghreb populations are largely indigenous North African by ancestry, and “Arab” is often a language/identity label rather than an origin. Tunisians aren’t the same as Levantine or Gulf Arabs, so collapsing everyone into “Arab” hides the country’s real roots. Change the tenth and eleventh paragraphs of the "Antiquity" subsection of the "History" section to either include citations or be removed. As I recall, the "granary of the empire" was Tripoli, which is west of Tunisia. Skybnnue (talk) 16:47, 20 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
