Article contradicts itself
[edit]¶1: "It is an ancient technique for making warm garments, especially mittens."
¶3: "Tufting was first developed by carpet manufacturers in Dalton, Georgia."
I don't know the textile history to know which of these is correct - perhaps the modern tufting gun was developed in Dalton, and it's a simple omission? But the local carpet industry certainly doesn't go far enough back to be "ancient". ~2026-17050-20 (talk) 16:47, 18 March 2026 (UTC)
