Streaming issues
[edit]On Roku or Firestick, we have a hard time with streaming properly, it will go and stop for a few seconds, won't happen on a tablet except during commercials. We don't like watching shows that interrupt even 2 seconds 😒 2600:1007:B0A9:59A8:1DCD:CAFA:DB07:9F6F (talk) 00:03, 5 December 2021 (UTC)
Number column for film tables
[edit]Why do the "Original documentary specials" and "Original films" sections have a "No." column? It seems to be numbered by release date, which is already taken care of by the Release Date column, and this numbering system does not appear to come from Tubi. I propose deleting the "No." column as it seems to serve no purpose. Nisf (talk) 14:24, 25 July 2023 (UTC)
- @Nisf, I don't have an answer, but a guess would be that it was meant to be an easy tally to know the overall number of productions as opposed to the order. Maybe this was nice when the number was small, but the lists have grown decently large. I'd guess it's only going to keep growing. Nobody has said anything, and I would support the removal of the column. I think you're safe to do so if you still care to make it more consistent with other lists. -2pou (talk) 17:57, 1 August 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks - I'll go ahead and remove the column. Nisf (talk) 18:05, 1 August 2023 (UTC)
- You have ruined the format. Home with all the choices is gone on my tv. It only allows me to see about 10 choices.Bring all the categories back ~2025-40350-83 (talk) 23:34, 12 December 2025 (UTC)
- This is not an official Tubi site, this is Wikipedia. Nisf (talk) 00:13, 13 December 2025 (UTC)

GDPR: wording?
[edit]"Tubi became inaccessible throughout the European Union as a result of the GDPR entering into force" makes it sound like the GDPR prohibits services like Tubi, which it does not, as it concerns privacy, not intellectual property or copyright. A large number of foreign websites ceased servicing EU users due to their noncompliance with regards to cookies and data harvesting (in many cases simply adding a cookie consent banner would have sufficed). It is quite likely, although I am unable to confirm it, that it's not the GDPR itself, but rather Tubi's noncompliance with it (in whatever shape or form) that is at issue.
Should the relevant paragraph be reworded more neutrally to avoid unilaterally placing blame with the GDPR/the EU, since we don't (seem to) know the specific issues between Tubi and the GDPR? I.e. "after the GDPR entered into force", rather than "as a result of", perhaps with something along the lines of "although the company hasn't commented on any specific issues" or the likes (I'm sure a more experienced editor could word this better than me). ~2026-37759-18 (talk) 22:19, 1 July 2026 (UTC)
