[edit]

If you are a native speaker of Tshiluba then you can help translate this template into your own language:

LuaThis user can program in Lua.

You've created a mixup with the user boxes for the Lua programming language (categories and such); please fix this. And please enter your article at the Lua disambig article.--Oneiros (talk) 16:34, 15 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Word Chimpanzee comes from language

[edit]

Can one of the experts add and verify that: Chimpanzee is derived from a Tshiluba language term "kivili-chimpenze", which is the local name for the animal and translates loosely as "mockman" or possibly just "ape". The colloquialism "chimp" was most likely coined some time in the late 1870s.[1]--Halqh حَلَقَة הלכהሐላቃህ (talk) 13:08, 6 January 2012 (UTC)Reply
