Fake article

[edit]

Fake article, there no such family, "Tschugguel" is a relatively common South Tyrolian surname of no noble background, the cited books do not refer to any baron of Tschugguel and the coat of arms is also a false piece. Pls check German Wikipedia for more information (esp. to User:Willthacheerleader18).--Jordi (talk) 14:34, 11 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

@Jordi: I have reverted your edits. Instead of page blanking, you need to have a discussion here on the talk page about the issues with the article and how best to improve it. If you have specific sources that validate your claim, please provide them here instead of directing other editors to look on another language Wikipedia. That is not how this works. If you think the article subject is not notable, then you can propose deletion of the article. -- Willthacheerleader18 (talk) 21:14, 15 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
We already had a discussion on my personal talk page where I told you everything. Then you asked for a 3rd opinion and I answered there, too ("The disagreement is about my removal of unsourced information from the forementioned articles. @User:Willthacheerleader18 has no sources for the existence of this noble family. He copied this stuff in 2020 from German Wikipedia, where it was deleted now because it turned out to be a fake.").
The 3rd opinion request was deleted for formal reasons by another user and, further on you refrained from opposing my corrections. I was glad and assumed you did it because I finally convinced you and you had got the point why it is necessary to delete the fake statements about a supposted baronial family which does not exist, because you have enough knowledge about nobility to judge the case. As I said above, "Tschugguel" is a South Tyrolian surname of no noble background. There are no sources which support the opposite.
So you are not allowed revert my edit which was justified by WP:INACCURATE. If you want to restore it, you need valid sources (which do not exist, as you know). A few minutes ago, I explained the same issue to you at Talk:Alexander Tschugguel#Removal of content. Thank you for your consideration, Cheers.--Jordi (talk) 23:47, 15 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
