Is there a real need for the European-style dates of episodes? I think they should be in American (mo/day/year) format, since it's an American show. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.235.100.151 (talk) 19:21, 2 February 2008 (UTC) True life is true life and not a freaking show.....if this keeps going everything will not mean thier original meanings and once that has happened we are eternally lost Who's the production company behind this show?Reply

Shouldn't there be a way to seperate this from True Life, Dell's LCD tech? 68.103.207.65 07:17, 7 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Criticism

[edit]

If anyone is interested in adding some criticism of the show (specifically season 2's "I Am A Hacker") to this article, there is a contemporary response from 2600 Magazine here, an audio file of a panel at a hacker convention by some participants and a former MTV employee detailing the hackers' point of view here (scroll down to "MTV - How Did it Happen?") and a recent article recounting some of the continuing effects on the hacker community here (scroll down to "Realize that we have had experience with the media before, good and bad." Disclosure: I wrote this.) I don't want to edit this stuff into the article myself as it'd be a conflict of interest for me, but the rest of you may be able to use these sources to improve the article. Award Winning Documentary Series?

[edit]

I was reading on the MTV Website (True Life Page) and the TV's Documentary summary said it was "Award Winning" (Scroll down to read the summary.) I did some research on what awards it won. The site IMBd showed the awards True Life won as well as some nominations. That page can be found here. This information should be added, I will do so soon if there is no objection to adding in this addition to the page.(HideAndGoSeek 12:24, 29 September 2007 (UTC))Reply

I think True Life is yet to be available on DVD... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.164.65.21 (talk) 01:12, 6 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
