The article claims that Troy Hebert served in the legislature from 1996 to 2010 as a Democrat/Independent and starting again in 2024 as a Republican. This appears to be confusing Troy Michael Hebert (farmer/politician from Iberia Parish) with Troy Jude Hebert (real estate broker/politician from Lafayette). They should be split into two articles. I have confirmed that the two are conflated, and have used multiple lines of reasoning, despite contamination by VoteSmart. The hardest part was confirming that the full name of the subject of the entry (Senator Hebert) is indeed TROY MICHAEL HEBERT.
