  • Not a review, but this article misses the length mark by one prose byte. @Sohom Datta: Please expand this further to prevent a potential fail; for advice I'd suggest expanding the career or expanding on the review sources to discuss his music's themes. ミラP@Miraclepine 14:29, 30 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
General: Article is new enough and long enough

Policy compliance:

Hook eligibility:

QPQ: Done.

Overall: This hook is great in almost all ways. The article is very new (It was created on March 28 and has been expanded 5x). The article's length is also good, being more than 1,500 bytes. The hook is sourced with a reliable source. The only issue with the hook is that it is not interesting. Instead of the hook being something about the musician, it is just about his genre, which is not interesting. Another hook such as "Did you know ... that Tray Wellington was a part of the black reclamation of banjo music?" would be better. Preceding unsigned comment added by The Twists and Turns (talkcontribs) -- Sohom (talk) 02:09, 13 April 2026 (UTC)Reply

@The Twists and Turns: We don't use {{dykno}} just because the hook is uninteresting. I also don't find your ALT particularly intriguing (something must have), but suggest something along the lines of "black reclamation".--Launchballer 17:09, 1 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
  • A suggestion from a classical music nerd who found all the ALTs exciting: ... that Tray Wellington emphasises the banjo's African roots, infusing traditional bluegrass with hip-hop, jazz and blues elements?  ?? ⁓☆⁓⁓ PaulasBunt (talk) 14:56, 23 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
That works for me as well! -- Sohom (talk) 21:02, 30 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
@Sohom Datta: Do you know why things aren't progressing here? I think the article is wonderful. ⁓☆⁓⁓ PaulasBunt (talk) 21:08, 30 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
Approving The Twists and Turns's suggested alt only as verified and interesting :) theleekycauldron (talk • she/her) 01:07, 10 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
