Picture

[edit]

Why does the picture say "Mixtur-Trautonium, 1952", while the same picture in Analog Synthesizer says "Trautonium, 1928"? Jariola (talk) 15:49, 4 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Invention

[edit]

Oskar Sala was actually the guy who built that all. Professor Trautwein was the formal inventor who managed it and started the development. Paul Hindemith was the composer who asked Trautwein to start that at all. Hindemith, here from Hanau in beneath, was known for his special experimental music. When he heard about Trautwein's Music investigations and studies, he thought of getting a very new instrument. Hindemith pointed Trautwein to Sala, because Sala was hins student. So Trautwein asked Sala to built this according to his formant experiments. I once talked to Oskar in the late 1990tees: He was very keen on the formant things because he proclaimed already that all the human vowls were made the same way, by "filtering". This is, what makes the Trautonium so special. Continuing History Trautwein went off the Trautonium-business during WW2 because he was a NSDAP-member and even became a member of the SA. So summarizing, it is Sala who is the creator and developper. Correctorgrande (talk) 22:26, 18 August 2025 (UTC)Reply
