- I don't believe Helms ever specified the colour mappings, so these values would just be for the interpretation used on Wikipedia. The other articles that specify this come from the original designers endorsing certain shades. ⇒ Aerrapc they/them, 22:21, 1 August 2025 (UTC)
- Oppose. The file was uploaded when all or almost all devices displayed the colors differently from the currently new devices. The color blue is especially noticeable, and for photosensitive people, the currently new devices show a bad contrast between the blue and pink (something similar happens with the rainbow flag file). It's also a reason some users adjust the flag in color edits.

Flag Proportions
[edit]I'm seeing this has already been removed before, and then re-added because these were the proportions of the original flag by Monica Helms. This makes some sense, but ideally should have a source actually showing that this is part of the original flag's design. As of now, it just comes off as a weird inconsistency that this one design detail with a common but not universal consensus is included, while details such as the exact color specifications are omitted specifically because they were not explicitly specified by the creator and vary between individual flags. - I support the removal. The 2006 file shows it was 800x400 (2:1 aspect ratio), a popular dimension used for web banners. However, the 2006 upload claims it was used 2000. Is there a museum that includes the original and physical trans flag? Because that would be a good source to state which was the official size, there is any. ~2026-34508-68 (talk) 06:27, 12 June 2026 (UTC)
