[edit]It would appear that "Barrett's metaplasia" describes the condition known as "Barrett's esophagus" -- in both cases, the cells of the esophagus change into another form, more commonly found in the intestines. However, the technical jargon in this article -- & in Barrett's esophagus -- make the links I created here questionable, although a modicum of common sense justifies them. I hope someone qualified to understand these two terms can confirm -- or deny -- my identification here. -- llywrch 23:17, 22 July 2007 (UTC)
