The history section is lacking detail between 1970 and the present. It would be good to include some background in direct solution techniques, as well as pseudospectral methods.
There are many more applications in both the industry and aerospace fields. These subsections should be expanded.
Could use more references in the section on trajectory optimization techniques and comparison of techniques.
Include more technical details for the various algorithms, or pointers to pages (yet to be created) about them.
Section about common numerical problems encountered when solving trajectory optimization problems.
Reference to Russ Tedrakes underactuated robotics class should be somewhere.

The applications section seem to contain a mixture of rather specific examples and quite general ones, which feel like they could be better categorised.
