Traffic tower → Ground traffic control tower — I' like to propose a move of the information on this page as this article deals around ground traffic towers.
The traffic control tower (refer from Traffic tower) article should mention that it may refer to:

• Ground traffic tower
  
• ground traffic control tower
  
• Sea traffic control tower Sea traffic control tower definition User:81.245.88.169 (talk) 16:12, 23 July 2009 (UTC)

• Oppose as ambiguous. Some airports have secondary towers that control ground traffic, more specifically ramp and gate area traffic. That is ground traffic. Also the main airport towers manage traffic on the taxiways, runways and vehicles on the airport's roads. So they do control ground traffic. So while the concept is probably OK, the target is not. Maybe road traffic control tower to align with the parent Category:Road traffic management? Vegaswikian (talk) 21:45, 23 July 2009 (UTC)
• Weak support. "Ground traffic control tower" does get hits on Google, but not a whole lot. However, to comment on Vegaswikian's comment: the air traffic control tower may manage airplanes on the ground, but they are airplanes, maneuvering on their way to take off. And if a separate tower controls true ground traffic at the ramp and gate, I think that does more to give credence to a move, rather than opposing it, unless you're talking about airplanes at the ramp and gate, and not the auxiliary vehicles (tractors and baggage trucks and such).--—Preceding unsigned comment added by Witan (talk • contribs) 01:58, 25 July 2009 (UTC)
  • I'm opposing the move as listed. If we are going to move it, then I'm suggesting road traffic control tower as an option. I'm not sure that is the best solution, but I believe that it is a better option then what was proposed. And this proposal better lines up with the sea traffic control tower reference that the nominator lists. Vegaswikian (talk) 19:27, 25 July 2009 (UTC)
