The ballplayer's character name
[edit]What is ridiculously incongruous about this otherwise good movie is that the ballplayer Vinnie Iacona has a very Italian name, and yet he was played by Raul Julia, who was very Spanish, including his accent. Now it was not a case of miscasting, because he played the part very well. But it would have made a lot more sense to give that character a Spanish name. Tesseract12 (talk) 14:18, 29 March 2026 (UTC)
