Request for wider input on discussion at WikiProject Tennis

[edit]

There is a long, ongoing discussion at WP:Tennis about the tournament tables found in tennis articles on English-language Wikipedia (e.g., this type of table). The discussion is about whether the "official sponsored name" of a tournament - such as Pacific Life Open - or another tournament name without the sponsor - such as Indian Wells Masters - must be used in those articles. Please join the discussion here. Thanks. Tennis expert (talk) 09:30, 4 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

AND MORE THAN 1000 YEARS OLDER THEN USA. BUT NOT ACCORDING TO THE OPINION OF THE SMALL AMERICAN BRAIN OF THE SIMPLETON TRACY AUSTIN!!! 2.121.8.234 (talk) 14:21, 13 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

Audi 5000 lawsuit vis-a-vis her early retirement and recurring injuries.

[edit]

Austin was injured in a sudden unintended acceleration automobile accident with her Audi 5000 in '89. Her lawyers contended that she suffered irreparable damage to her legs and lower back that would prevent her from continuing a pro tennis career. She settled for an undisclosed sum.

Inline Citations

[edit]

This article currently has only three inline citations. The first cites another Wikipedia article (which is not allowed under WP:VER) and the other two link to the exact same URL. I'm removing the first citation and merging the other two, and adding a BLP sources tag.--chrisFjordson (talk) 21:18, 8 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
