There is no such taxon as Trachodon atavus Cope, 1871. I searched Cope's 1871 work on Google Books (http://books.google.com/books?id=hP0CAAAAIAAJ&printsec=frontcover&source=gbs_atb#v=onepage&q&f=false) and there is no mention of Trachodon. Therefore, Trachodon atavus is a typographical error made by Weishampel and Horner (1990) and Horner et. al. (2004).68.4.61.237 (talk) 00:55, 25 September 2010 (UTC)Vahe DemirjianReply
