"busybox vs toybox" talk

[edit]

So two days ago somebody added a link to an hour long "busybox vs toybox" talk by the project's creator, explicitly comparing the two, and you remove it again as irrelevant? Why?  Preceding unsigned comment added by 183.75.9.212 (talk) 10:49, 14 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Any help at Talk:BusyBox#Claims by Toybox developer Rob Landley would by most appreciated. --Guy Macon (talk) 20:40, 14 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

Is ToyBox a single exe?

[edit]

I think like BusyBox, ToyBox is a single executable. This article does say it's a replacement for BusyBox, but I think it should explicitly say it's also a single executable since in the context of normal Unix/Linux, that is unusual enough that it does not go without saying. Controversy section

[edit]

The Controversy section does not really explain the controversy other than to state its existence. It also refers to lawsuits without explaining them or even identifying them. These topics require an explanation so readers can understand what is going on. —Finell 02:58, 20 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
