[edit]I agree with the comments on the Ben Nevis talk page that a full article about the North-East face would be much better (ideally two, for summer and winter), but while this one is here it may as well aspire to something more than stub status, so I've expanded it a bit. Would the story of Trevor Goodeve's December 1907 attempt/fiasco be worth importing via paraphrase from Ken Crocket's book? Munrogue (talk) 11:37, 6 June 2014 (UTC)
- Aside: Dave MacLeod once told a small group of which I was part that the left-leading ledges below the Great Tower are a fine place to grab free gear from parties mistaking any of these for the Eastern Traverse and abseiling off after getting into difficulties. Since it's not verifiable I had to leave it out of the article, sadly. Munrogue (talk) 14:45, 17 August 2013 (UTC)
