"Avary"?

[edit]

Just how does the author think that is pronounced?

In the cartoon, Bugs pronounces the director's name "Fred, A Very". He also puts the accent on the second syllable in Dave Monahan's last name. The mispronunciations as written are not comprehensible from the way they're written in the article.

Parody?

[edit]

How can a film released in 1941 be a parody of a film not released until 1943? 96.244.53.133 (talk) 18:21, 16 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Sorry, misread 1934 for 1943. Mea culpa. 96.244.53.133 (talk) 18:22, 16 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Dispute over release date

[edit]

This page says March 15th, but the cr page says March 12th. https://cartoonresearch.com/index.php/animator-breakdown-tortoise-beats-hare-1941/ Which release date should we trust? Lenburg's or Devon Baxters? 148.76.108.90 (talk) 13:46, 24 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Public Domain Title Card

[edit]

I think the title card for this should be included since it does not meet the threshold of originality for copyright. MonkeyBBGB (talk) 02:40, 30 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
