See also section needs an explanation

the see also section here lists the names of a few of the characters in the movies but those not explain that; furthermore, their names are linked to articles for the things the characters are named after and this makes no sense. for example, the section has entries for Chocolate mousse and Déjà vu and links to those articles, but it does not say anything about the fact that they are characters. as it is now, it is very confusing unless you have seen the movie.

i suggest that either an explanation is added and the section renamed or that its deleted althogether. --uri budnik 01:53, 14 May 2006 (UTC)

Nazis in Top Secret!?

As I disclosed in my edit summary I removed the part about East Germany being run by Nazis. They are communists, and welcome a Soviet opera singer to the cultural festival at the same time Nick Rivers is there. The French Resistance, while they did in reality fight the Nazis, I don't think is supposed to make sense in a literal historical way, but rather just for comic relief. The French Resistance was in France, after all, and not Germany, during WWII.

I believe that while the movie is ostensibly set in East Germany, the actual uniforms and stereotypes resemble those of Hollywood Nazis and Germans in WWII. So it's actually a mix of the two, Nazis and East German commies. There are even SS-like uniforms! 201.231.81.53 (talk) 05:44, 20 September 2011 (UTC)

Factual Error

Swedish bookstore scene filmed backwards

There isn't any mention that the swedish bookstore scene was filmed backwards and played back in reverse, including the dialog, ending with people sliding up a fire pole and a dog walking backwards.
