Duplicate passages
[edit]Several paragraphs seem to be pretty much duplicates of paragraphs in other sections of the article. And Donghak Peasant Revolution does not indicate that it was too peaceful... AnonMoos (talk) 16:06, 11 March 2010 (UTC)
- I complete agree. This article confuses the original Confucian Donghak movement with the later Cheondoism religion. Although one comes from the other, Donghak itself wasn't a religion, but a trend in Confucian intellectual thought. I've made an effort to revise some things based on the one solid source I have available, but further work needs to be done. --Ph0kin (talk) 00:34, 23 June 2012 (UTC)
Interesting, more info
[edit]I believe it is a foundational myth/religion/movement for the both Koreas. That is why it should be elaborated, to the length of e.g. communism or anarchism.
Any Korean volunteers? Zezen (talk) 17:14, 14 February 2016 (UTC)

Donghak → Tonghak – See Talk:Tonghak Peasant Revolution#Requested move 24 May 2025. Similar applies here; most academic writings use MR for coverage of this. grapesurgeon (seefooddiet) (talk) 23:42, 20 August 2025 (UTC) — Relisting. Jeffrey34555 (talk) 22:38, 27 August 2025 (UTC)
