I may have failed to follow Wikipedia conventions when editing the "stub" on Tom Noddy. My intent was to add more facts to allow people to add to it. It was immediately cut off in its entirety by a bot.

I'm not sure why.

I changed it back to what I had entered. Maybe I should have explained to the bot why I thought that I was right and it was wrong but I wasn't sure where or how I might do that. Maybe the bot will automatically (I assume that bots do everything automatically) change it back to the stub again ...

It's probably because you were a new editor and adding links to YouTube. Statistically speaking, that combination tends to be producing more spam than encyclopedia articles, but it's not a foolproof system by any means. I hope that you worked it out.
