User:Primefac in order to contradict the BBC source, it is naturally difficult to find a specific source, that the non-notable parents of the subject of this article are not keen climbers. I have not found any other source than Chris Peddy's that says they are. My guess is that the Peddy article is simply wrong about their being climbers. The father is his son's coach and presumably keen on that, but that is not the same as being a climber himself. There is an interview with Roberts where at 20 seconds in Roberts states his parents weren't climbers. Not a reliable source of course, but gives reason to think the Peddy cited material may be inaccurate or non-factual; hence the tag.
