Portrait

[edit]

The image of Rustat is a stipple engraving by W. N. Gardiner, 1796, which is "after Sir P. Lely" in the Hall of Jesus College.

The painting in the collection of Jesus College is now attributed to Godfrey Kneller but I have not found a discussion of a re-attribution. Nedrutland (talk) 09:49, 17 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

I have now found this quotation (cited) "the oil-portrait at Jesus College (attributed to Lely but actually by Kneller with his signature dated 1682)". Nedrutland (talk) 14:41, 17 February 2021 (UTC)Reply
