(Requesting editorial help)

[edit]

This really needs to be cleaned up by someone who has read the book. I have begun the formatting process and attempted to rewrite what is now the Plot Summary, but it still reads badly and is confusing. Someone who has actually read this would do a lot better with the descriptive stuff, at the moment it's chaotic. "unsigned comment"

Cover image and artist

[edit]
On second thought I doubt it. -P64

IIIC we have an image of the cover by Greg Spalenka, IIIC first used on the first British edition catalogued at ISFDB (Simon & Schuster UK, Feb 2003). So I specified that in the caption.

ISFDB lists cover artist Greg Spalenka in the first two rows of its table. IIIC that name should be in rows two and (now blank) three. Select "View all covers" which displays the covers for all nine rows of the table in sequence IIIC.

IIIC: if i infer correctly. The inferences are supported by the three cover images that Holly Black displays on her top page for "young adult" writing. ISFDB credits Sammy Yuen, Jr. with those same three cover art works, those three have obvious unity, and we may suppose Black displays a unified set of covers.

On second thought (or fourth and fifth thought), I doubt it. Short of communication with one or more principals, I suppose that the Sammy Yuen website mentioned on our image File page is most likely to help. --P64 (talk) 00:36, 8 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
