Hello. I am Timofey Kulyabin, the subject of this article, so I am disclosing a conflict of interest and am not making a major direct edit to the article myself.
The current article is substantially out of date. I would like to propose a comprehensive update covering my international work since 2022, including productions in Germany, Greece, Bulgaria, Romania and Japan; the 2024 Opernwelt distinction for The Queen of Spades in Lyon; the 2026 UNITER Award for Long Day’s Journey into Night in Sibiu; and my current position as co-director of the drama division at Staatstheater Cottbus.
I have prepared a revised draft using inline citations, with particular care regarding the biography-of-a-living-person policy. The proposed text also corrects the description of the 2015 Tannhäuser proceedings: contemporary reliable sources describe them as administrative proceedings, not criminal proceedings.
I would be grateful if an uninvolved editor could review the proposed update. I can provide the complete proposed article text here or in a user sandbox, whichever is preferable.
Thank you. Timofey kulyabin (talk) 01:03, 6 September 2026 (UTC)Reply
