reprioritze info in article
[edit]The 1975 switch of Yukon from YST to PST should be in the first sentence, as it is an essential fact about the history of time in Yukon. On the other hand, the 1971/72 technical reference change (from GMT to UTC) should not be in the first sentence, as it is only tangential to this time zone. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Set theorist (talk • contribs) 02:28, 12 November 2010 (UTC)
- Above comment is now an anachronism as the new Yukon Standard Time timezone was re-established in 2020, and so the beginning of the article needs to focus on the extant timezone. Pxtl (talk) 16:32, 3 December 2024 (UTC)
Redirected without discussion
[edit]Recently this article was called "Yukon Time" but is now redirected to "Time in Yukon". There was no discussion that I can see. I propose to end that redirection and have the current article as Yukon Time. Vanguard10 (talk) 03:09, 28 April 2026 (UTC)

- The above discussion has been in place for more than one month. I declare the change to be made but further discussion is welcomed. Vanguard10 (talk) 04:39, 29 May 2026 (UTC)
- The page was not "redirected," it was moved, with a rationale of
"For consistency with other "Time in [Canadian region]" articles"
. - Cutting and pasting the content of an article to move it is not acceptable. The proper process is outlined at Wikipedia:Moving a page. --Sable232 (talk) 18:49, 30 May 2026 (UTC)
