I wish someone would include some information regarding his eye(s). Because there is a noticeable quirk, it would be nice to have it acknowledged and some history given?

Somewhere on the internet someone claimed that he has blepharophimosis syndrome, which causes ptosis. That is drooping of the eyelid because the muscles aren't strong enough to raise it. Paris Hilton, Forest Whitaker, and Salman Rushdie also have ptosis, but from a different cause I think. 184.151.114.142 (talk) 12:10, 8 August 2015 (UTC)
- If he has the same condition my daughter has (BPES) it stands for Blepharmosis Ptosis Epicanthus Inversus Syndrome.
- You are correct in that the Ptosis causes the droopiness of the eyelids and it appears he has had a very similar surgery as my daughter had at 8 months.
- It places a silicone (or muscle if the patient is old enough) band to attach the eye lid to the eyebrow muscles to give the person a secondary way to open their eyes. (Raising their eyebrows thus opens their eyes acting as stand in eye lid muscles. BPES is a genetic mutation that can occur with the FoxL (something like that) gene or can be passed down by a parent with the genetic mutation. My daughter's case was a spontaneous mutation during pregnancy with her. ❤️ SVS136 (talk) 22:33, 12 August 2024 (UTC)
