Anti-Semitic "Jew-tagging"

Once again, Wikipedia allows the "born to a Jewish family" tag to identify people born Jewish, when the religions of non-Jewish people are, by comparison, only very rarely mentioned. It's a thinly-veiled anti-Semitic practice that Wikipedia actively enables, and it's disgraceful.

If you were the son of a SS commander or had a catholic upbringing, I would certainly expect this to be mentioned in the bio. Since you are born Jewish, somewhat race-ish, if you will, and in a family that had to flee Nazi-Germany the Holocaust is certainly remembered, some way or other, to suggest anti-Semitism here is quiet single-minded. If so, it would be to show respect, in a soapy and slightly questionable, but 'mostly harmless' way. 'Everybody' loves Tim Blake Nelson, and if he belongs to the literate, the brainy ones, the inventive ones, the funny ones, even better (Maybe, that unconditional love for the Heines, the Freuds, the Einsteins, Panofskys, and the Jon Stewarts, is a German defect, but their Jewish identity is certainly noted in the WP, because of the Anti-Semitism they endured). The question is, if it informed the education (through religious practice, the remembering of the Holocaust or the 'usual' discrimination). If not, WP should not suggest otherwise. But bad intent?, conciously or subconciously, please. It's rather disgraceful to suggest that – anonymously, sure... grow a risorius. It is really your problem, whoever you are.
