Dear noq, thanks for your review/feedback. I propose to let this article live article because it is not just a pet project but a tool that some people already use. Here's an example of notability (IMHO): https://stackoverflow.com/search?q=tig (currently I see 759 search results). // VictorYarema (talk) 13:58, 17 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

User:VictorYarema. Please read WP:NSOFT and explain how you think it meets those guidelines? Also, please read WP:reliable sources and WP:significant coverage - Stackoverflow does not qualify as either. noq (talk) 15:55, 17 January 2020 (UTC)Reply
As you will note, I added a couple of sources after your prod. The software is well known in the Git community and those sources provide verifiability for the current content and then some. I don't know if it quite enough coverage for notability; reasonable editors can disagree on this. A compromise solution would be to merge it to Comparison_of_Git_GUIs#Desktop_operating_systems where other Git clients are listed. Per out WP policy WP:ATD, for verifiable information, merging verifiable content is preferred to deletion. Or if such a compromise is disagreeable, taking it AfD is another alternative. --{{u|Mark viking}} {Talk} 18:29, 17 January 2020 (UTC)Reply
I'm not sure what would be worth adding to the comparison page that is not already there. This article is little more than an indication of its existence. noq (talk) 12:53, 21 January 2020 (UTC)Reply
The source at the comparison page is primary, but both refs I added are secondary and independent. Adding either one would be an improvement. --{{u|Mark viking}} {Talk} 13:18, 21 January 2020 (UTC)Reply
