CGP Grey contributions to the name’s history.

[edit]

With the new research done by CGPGrey regarding the names history, I feel like the wikipedia article needs its own paragraph surrounding the anglicised name’s history. He lists all of his primary sources, but I fear that I am not skilled enough to do it myself. Thanks. 2A01:CB0C:DEB:6700:751F:12AD:87EA:ED60 (talk) 21:58, 21 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

CGPGrey did not add any new knowledge about the name Tiffany, its history was well known and recorded in name dictionaries as early as Yonge's 1863 History of Christian Names. GoatnamedWilliam (talk) 10:48, 13 June 2025 (UTC)Reply

Theophanu?

[edit]

Theophania seems to be a bit rare, while Theophanu delivers about 20 hits for the middle ages. Pls mention that form. --2A02:908:898:9780:B130:E3F0:69CB:834 (talk) 17:36, 17 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

The link to "babynameshub.com" doesn't work anymore, it instead redirects to a domain selling site. A link to an archived version should be added. RaschenTechner (talk) 19:48, 24 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

Draft:The History of the Name Tiffany

[edit]

Another editor has created the draft Draft:The History of the Name Tiffany, which was not moved to article space. Perhaps some of the information in that draft could be added to this article, with appropriate attribution. Eastmain (talkcontribs) 12:21, 11 June 2025 (UTC)Reply
