Corporation or Limited Liability Company?

[edit]

What is Ticketmaster? A corporation or a company? The article lists that it is a corporation at the start but then the infobox lists it as an LLC? What is it's legal name ending? WiinterU (talk) 02:28, 12 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

Coronation Concert Tickets controversies

"as a result many people booked hotels or the day off work"
Is this supposed to say "or took the day off work"? 216.243.58.119 (talk) 20:51, 16 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

Proposed split: "Criticism and controversies" section

[edit]

I propose splitting the "Criticism and controversies" section into a standalone article, tentatively titled either Criticism of Ticketmaster - in line with articles like Criticism of Tesla, Inc. and Criticism of Facebook - or Ticketmaster controversies, following the format of NFL controversies and Scientology controversies. I'm open to feedback on which title best aligns with Wikipedia naming conventions and precedent. The section has grown significantly and now includes detailed coverage of antitrust investigations, consumer backlash, pricing practices, and high-profile incidents such as the Taylor Swift ticketing controversy and the 2024 DOJ lawsuit. Given the breadth and depth of the material, a separate article would improve the readability of the main Ticketmaster page and allow for more structured and comprehensive treatment of these issues. The main article would retain a summary paragraph with a link to the new page. --62.166.252.159 (talk) 11:04, 19 August 2025 (UTC)Reply

I'm inclined to agree. The high profile nature and current length of the section justifies a separate article. 172.56.15.144 (talk) 04:36, 22 August 2025 (UTC)Reply

Support - This section is very long and takes up more in the article than it should. Pocoraven (talk) 21:53, 21 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
