Sound

- Quartz clocks don't have a pendulum and they still tick tock (well, maybe "tick tick"), but your point is well taken. I've added escapement to the primary topic sentence. Hoof Hearted (talk) 20:52, 22 October 2014 (UTC)
Splitting proposal
[edit]I propose that the article be split into a separate disambiguation page called Tik tok and Tic toc. We can put the link for each page at "See also" section. Not sure why "Tick tock" is chosen over another. Hddty. (talk) 08:56, 23 October 2018 (UTC)
