Your sources conflict

[edit]

The last source you cited which has no credibility whatsoever says that it was founded in the 12th century. I fixed it.  Preceding unsigned comment added by Prophetofreason (talkcontribs) 02:23, 15 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

New page on the Dhar Tichitt archaeological site/region?

[edit]

I would recommend the creation of a separate page for the Dhar Tichitt archaeological site - it's a World Heritage Site, after all. The current page seems to be mainly for the modern town of Tichit. Any thoughts? Ninafundisha (talk) 14:23, 24 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

You could be right. I am not to sure about the relationship between the ancient counterpart, the medieval one, and the modern one. They could be separate entities or one continuous past. Tichitt seems to be the name of the town and not the archeological site so I dont really know what to do. Prophetofreason (talk) 03:36, 15 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

I think it might be a good idea to create a new page for the medieval settlement at Tichitt (the Ksour) that is listed as a World Heritage Site. Then we could leave this page for just the modern town of Tichit. What do you think? Ninafundisha (talk) 15:40, 11 December 2014 (UTC)Reply
